...i've got soul but i'm not a soldier...
I took on an impossible task a few days ago: cleaning my room. It should not have been attempted, for people have tried through the ages to no avail. After three days of work... I haven't made much progress. The reason: I have too much stuff, that I'm not willing to part with.
I am, however, willing to part with all of this year's calculus assignments. Farewell, endless hours of labor. And I mean endless. I wonder how many hours were put into that pile of papers, but I guess I'll never know.
If cleaning your own room is a terrible enough task, it makes it even worse to be trying to read the new harry potter book at the same time. Thus, I am only 2/3 done with this book, despite that it is enjoyable. I also started it the same day I started cleaning my room (monday?). At some point I just had to come back to the computer, and write one (actually two) long rambly emails in order to regain my sanity.
So, other than being insane, today I went to beckman to learn how to test people for this psych experiment, that deals with language. Basically, they want to see the electrical signals from your brain while comprehending different sentences. I got to learn how to put electrodes on people's heads and set up the testing on the computer, which was exciting.
Anyway, apparently I'm going downstairs now, so that's the end.
